Leos play park is located only 25 minutes from Oslo city center and is the biggest play park in the Nordics. Play mini golf at Ekeberg
Mini golf is a perfect outdoor activity for the whole family in the summer. At Ekebergsletta you will find Søylehuset Café and Mini golf. Here they have a mini golf course available in the period between 1st of July until the 15th of August. The mini golf course consists of two different courses with a total of 18 holes on each course. This is perfect for both children and adults at all ages, where the easiest courses are suitable for children down to the age of three. Ekeberg’s famous landmark, Søylehuset Cafe, is right next to the golf course and is open all year around. Here they serve delicious lunch, waffles and ice cream.
Jump with joy at a trampoline park
The trampoline park Altitude is Norway’s biggest indoor trampoline park, and is located at Billingstad, just 25 minutes west of downtown Oslo. In addition to trampolines, the park also offers other activities like a climbing wall, space to play canon ball and a ninja court where the children can play ninjas. The age limit in the park is usually 5 years, but every Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 10 am the park arranges Toddler Time. At this time the youngest children can also play around and jump with joy.
Meet the animals at Bogstad Manor
At Bogstad Manor, 30 minutes from Oslo city center, there is a farm and a barn where children can meet different animals such as sheep, cows, pigs, rabbits, goats and hens. The farm has free entry from Tuesdays to Fridays between 12 pm and 4 pm. The Manor also arranges several activities and events all year around. Autumn day is an event where the children can experience sheep shearing, riding horse and carriage as well as other fun activities. They also arrange Christmas where they serve traditional Norwegian porridge and have a Christmas workshop. This is an opportunity for the children to experience Norwegian farming and animal life.
